Bureau of Labor Statistics Virtual Data Users Conference - April 20, 2022

The Data Users Conference is an event held by the Bureau of Labor Statistics Mid-Atlantic regional office to showcase the labor market data available to the public and provide insight on the different ways labor market data can be used to analyze the U.S. economy. Join the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) on April 20th from 9:00 a.m.–12:20 p.m. ET.

This year the Bureau of Labor Statistics is working closely with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and the Virginia Employment Commission to bring together expert economists that will shed light on the labor market changes taking place in these unique times.

BLS Commissioner William Beach will discuss the actions the Agency has taken to continue to deliver gold standard data for public use. Regional Economist Terance Rephann will explore the impact COVID-19 has had on Virginia’s economy and the nation. Associate Commissioner Jeffrey Hill will discuss inflation and price changes.
